everything was great, probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Definitely above your average 4 star hotel. Huge bed, nice bathroom, everything refurbished with style, fridge & coffee pot in the room. Excellent breakfast - I had pancakes with strawberries and cream every day (besides other stuff). Would definitely recommend!
The hotel was excellent, comfortable and prime location. The room and bathroom were spotless, beds very comfortable and spacious.
no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
We found our stay at The Ross to be wonderful, the food is excellent and the modern decor is extremely relaxing, the bedrooms are extremely well presented and we would recommend anyone to stay and experience The Ross for themeselves.
Staff were very nice & the hotel decor was amazing. Pics online are what drew me to this hotel & I wasn't disappointed. Hotel was in a great location.Glad we had only booked for two nights though as Killarney doesn't have much to offer for a young couple on a romantic break!!
Downside was the continous 'jazzy lift music' being played all the time..trying too hard to create an ambience when it was just plain irritating! Contemporary & up to date music would have been more welcoming. Also there were no special touches in the plain room..thought it was just very basic considering the thought that had been put into the decor of the hotel itself.
The hotel is in an ideal location between both the town centre and the national park. It is within a few minutes walk from the train station. The room and bathroom are large fresh and very comfortable with a great breakfast included. We stayed on a busy weekend and the room was noisy as a result of looking onto a busy pub lined lane. This was the only fault we would have with our stay. We will however stay again. The staff were excellent in terms of professionalism, friendliness and local knowledge. They really seemed to love their work. We will definately stay again, but on busy weekends we may not stay in the back rooms bespite their luxury and size.
The noise of music and partying from the back lane which went on to the early hours. The room would benefit from better soundproofing. This will not stop us staying again as the hotel is otherwise excellent.
The Hotel has been completely re-done since I stayed there years ago. Although one may see its lost any "old Irish" look to it, its new "art-deco" look is very nice and its quite comfortable to stay there. The hotel amenities are very nice, its very clean, the rooms are great with very comfortable beds, and the location is still the same so its walking distance to main Killarney.....you can't ask for anything more. And I found the hotel staff very helpful and accomodating.
I loved its central location and funky design. The food and fabulous cocktails in The Lane bar was scrumptious...the best Pina Colada I ve tasted outside of Cuba!!
This is a lovely hotel, full of funky furniture and design.
Our room was at the back of the hotel and overlooking a street with a bar. Although the room was fantastic, we were disturbed on both nights by noise from the bar. They could do better on soundproofing.
Front desk staff were amazing. Room was beautiful, could not have been better. Breakfast was buffet and then order your breakfast, good mix. Would recommend to anyone for a day or a month.
Interior design, comfort, friendly staff & an excellent breakfast
The staff were wonderful as was all
Very comfortable and spcious modern decor bedroom. Cellar Restaurant chef was superb in both food preparation and quality!
We were informed at reception that our room 108, would experience some street noise. that night, from party revelllers. This turned out to be a complete understatement, with the bedroom positioned directly above a disco bar, with full volume booming music. We were unable to sleep until the early hours. This spoiled an otherwise wonderful stay.
Ideal location with lovely friendly staff, very luxurious,
The Ross is an absolutely beautiful hotel, we were so impressed with every aspect of it. The rooms were modern but comfortable, the staff were very polite and professional, and the breakfast was amazing. The Lane bar is also well worth a visit. Highly recommend this hotel!
A luxuriously designed hotel with charming staff. Location offers access to both leisure pursuits and Killarneys many restaurants and bars. Ideal for a romantic getaway or a girlie weekend!
